In more recent times, the world has undergone a cultural and societal shift in how people at large seek to relate to each other.

The word and practice of being ‘woke’ or so-called “politically correct” has become a part of mainstream discussion across almost every sphere of society, and even governs to some degree how nations do business with each other. This cultural revolution has implications for Christendom in terms of how it is able to achieve its mission.

This mission is set amid countervailing forces that seek to undermine the place and role of the Church as being morally influential, and not necessarily subject to the rapid ‘moving forces’ of 21st century, unhealthy, change.

Mark Tronson (Australia) in this article in the link below examines ‘wokeness’ and its implications for the Church of God.
