How often do you stop and ponder your heart? Is it right before God?
I often think about whether my heart is ‘right’ before God.
I tell you, the more I engage in my faith, the more I need Jesus. We will always need more of Jesus. He is our all in all.
My more specific question is, are you ready to meet God at any time? This was the subject of a recent sermon of mine where the congregation was challenged to consider their present state of heart. Was it ready to meet with Jesus? Were we doing God’s Will seeing that this is the ‘test’ for Heaven entry as we find in Matthew 7:21.
The foolish virgins in Matthew chapter 25 appeared as if they would be ready for the Bridegroom Jesus Christ when He returned. However, they were not ready at the time that counted most – when He returned. How is your heart? Are you always ready to meet with God.
May God grace our hearts more so that we would be ready to meet with Jesus, whether upon His return or at our expiry on this earth, in His holy name.
God bless you all.
